Our Team
Josh is the President and Co-Founder of KHG Sports Management. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University and earned his law degree (JD) from Wake Forest University School of Law. He currently owns the law firm of Knipp Law Office, PLLC, based in North Carolina, and also represents multiple athletes. Josh comes into this agency with years worth of negotiation experience and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to baseball and finding the top talent in the country. His passion for baseball, recruiting, and analytics has allowed him to find some of the best talent and develop an in-depth knowledge of MLB. He understands the values and needs that athletes and their families face during the transition from high school and college to professional play. Josh’s legal background coupled with his proficiency in the agency business makes him a primary figure in the long term success of KHG. Already regarded as a trusted advisor, he maintains long standing relationships and is a key influence in making sure athletes maximize all elements of their career.
Drew comes to KHG as the Vice President and Co-Founder of the firm. He received his Bachelors Degree in Sport Management from Winthrop University and a law degree (JD) from the University of Oregon focusing in business law. He also played baseball at the Division I level for Winthrop University. Drew brings years of extensive experience working in marketing and contracts/endorsement deals both at the college and professional levels. After years of experience playing and working in sports and the athlete representation field, Drew, along with Josh, was motivated to help create this full-service firm to provide quality representation to athletes in need of advising. Drew’s personal skills, knowledge of sports, desire to help athletes on and off the field, and his drive to succeed inspired him to create the next great sports management firm in KHG Sports.
Gabe is the Director of Baseball Operations at KHG. He brings a wealth of baseball experience as both a player and as an advisor. As a player Gabe won a National Championship at Central Arizona College, before finishing up his collegiate career at California Baptist University. He also played professionally for former MLB greats Gary Templeton, Darrell Evans, Charlie Hough, and the late Hall of Famer Gary Carter. As an advisor he has built a network of coaches, scouts, directors, mentors, and strength and position coaches that enables him to provide the support that his players need to excel both during and after their careers. His passion for the game, as well as his business experience, make him a perfect fit for our players.
Hank currently serves as the Director of Coaching and Collegiate Services for KHG. Prior to his time at KHG, Hank was a senior level college athletics administrator for several NCAA Division 1 institutions throughout the Southeastern United States. Hank is known for his calm demeanor, well-reasoned and practical approach to problem solving, and his honesty with everyone he works with. He graduated from East Carolina University and later the Elon University School of Law, and has been licensed to practice law in NC since 2012. Hank has hired and helped hire multiple coaches across several sports in the NCAA Division 1 space. His in-depth knowledge of collegiate athletics, the hiring and search process, and his administrative network allow him to serve his clients and help them reach all of their professional goals. His legacy as a steady, engaging, and transparent administrator allow for maximum collaboration between his clients and the schools they work for. Hank also serves as an Associate Attorney at the Knipp Law Office, handling a variety of transactional matters for the firm.
